Project Overview
PT. Digital Teknologi International (PT. DTI) successfully partnered with PT. Lima Menara Bintang (PT. 5MB), a leading Fiber Optic (FO) cable provider and Internet Service Provider (ISP), to facilitate a critical hardware infrastructure upgrade at the Duren Tiga DataCenter. As the backbone of many essential digital services, modernizing this infrastructure was crucial to ensuring the continued delivery of reliable and efficient services to their clients.
The Challenge
The aging hardware at Duren Tiga DataCenter needed to be replaced with high-performance, reliable solutions capable of supporting the growing demands of PT. 5MB’s network infrastructure. Finding the right products that offered both performance and reliability was essential, while maintaining cost-effectiveness was also a top priority.

- CapEx to OpEx Transformation: To provide a flexible financial solution for PT. 5MB, PT. DTI strategically financed the upfront capital expenditure (CapEx) required to purchase the Nokia hardware and resold it to PT. 5MB under an operational expenditure (OpEx) model. This allowed PT. 5MB to upgrade their infrastructure without the need for large upfront costs, offering greater flexibility in managing their budget.

PT. DTI ensured that the hardware was delivered on time and met the stringent performance requirements for the data center. By working closely with Nokia and PT Quinsis Lima Mitra, we:
